TIL Shrek, originally was supposed to be played by Bill Murray, but dreamworks took over and Chris Farley was cast. Farely recorded about 90% of the dialogue, but died before finishing. Mike Myers stepped in and recorded the entire film before deciding to start over with a Scottish accent.
