TIL of Truganini, who was long considered to have been the last full-blooded Tasmanian Aborigine, and who lived and died during the brutal colonisation of her land. Her dying wish for her ashes to be scattered in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel was finally honoured in 1976, 100 years after her death.
