TIL scientists have improved upon CAR-T: a living drug made by genetically engineering a patient's T-cells kill cancer cells. They found a new type of T-cell that could attack a wider range of cancers than the existing CAR-T. This raises the prospect of a 'one-size-fits-all' cancer treatment.
