TIL about the Sierra Sounds, audio recordings from the 1970s in the Sierra Nevada mountains, thought by some to capture Sasquatch vocalizations. R. Scott Nelson, a cryptolinguist with the U.S. Navy, stated that the recordings contain a distinct language, not human in origin, and likely not faked.
