TIL Jessica Cantillan, a 17 yr old Mexican citizen received the wrong heart and lung in a transplant surgery at Duke University in 2003. The transplant surgeon (world renowned)wasn't notified untIl the end of surgery. Her body rejected the organs and despite a second surgery, she died.
