TIL:"Eulogy for a Dog" by lawyer George Vest, a powerful tribute to all dogs, helped win judgement in Burden v.Hornsby. This was the 4th trial on the shooting of Burden's dog, Old Drum.Vest had declared he would 'win the case or apologize to every dog in Missouri'.The Missouri Supreme Court upheld.
