TIL that the Village of Huescar in Spain fought a 172 Year War with Denmark. During the Napoleonic Wars, Spanish towns resisting the French were semi-independent. Huescar had just 8 guards, but declared war on Pro-French Denmark, then forgot about it until 1981. Denmark ended the war with a treaty.
