TIL Chuck Wepner, the inspiration for Rocky, boxed/wrestled Andre the Giant in 1976. It is speculated that the match influenced Rocky III (1982), which features a fight where Hulk Hogan, "Thunderlips", throws Rocky out of the ring, as Andre did Wepner in real life.
