TIL that during the Apollo 11 mission, Buzz Aldrin broke off the engine-arm circuit breaker inside the Lunar Module and, needing to rearm the ascent engine to get off the Moon. He used the non-conductive tip of a felt-tip pen to complete the circuit and enable liftoff.
