TIL the Supreme Court ruling of "Oliphant v Suquamish" states that non-Native Americans who commit crimes on tribal land cannot be arrested by NatAme law enforcement. Who gets to make the arrest depends on the ethnicity of the criminal or the victim. This resulted in many crimes going unpunished.
