TIL In 1980 Mark Felt, now know as the Watergate leaker codenamed Deepthroat, was convicted of violating the civil rights of people associated with the Weather Underground by authorizing FBI agents to perform illegal searches of their homes. He was pardoned by Ronald Reagan in 1981.
