TIL that for decades there was speculation why "Dolly for Sue", a seemingly normal rag doll, was present on the Island of Misfit Toys in the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer special. In 2007, Arthur Rankin revealed that she was a Misfit Toy due to being clinically depressed.
