TIL, the Houston home of astronaut Neil Armstrong burned down in 1964 and his family was led to safety by Armstrong and fellow astronaut Ed White. White would later be killed when he and two crewmates became trapped in a fire during a test of their Apollo 1 spacecraft in 1967.
