TIL a study found that two 3000-year-old artifacts (a bracelet & a hollow decorative sphere) in the Treasure of Villena were forged from iron from a meteor that struck Earth a million years ago. Most of the 66 items in the treasure are made of gold & silver. The trove's origin remains a mystery.
