TIL It was legal in texas to shoot a man in bed with your wife (adultery) until 1973! Justifiable homicide! Texas state law library, this statute was done away with in 1973. Article 1220 of the old texas penal code page is link provided as State Law Library's page won't link here. See 1st comment.
