TIL Frog saliva is a non-Newtonian fluid. The fluid is initially runny when the frog's tongue first hits its prey helping it spread along the surface of their food. After the initial pressure drops the fluid gets gooier and stickier allowing the prey to be quickly brought into the frog's mouth.
