TIL about Mayhem, a Norwegian Black Metal band. In 1991, their vocalist at the time, Per "Dead" Ohlin, committed suicide. Their bassist, Euronymous, discovered Dead's body and took a photograph of the scene. Euronymous was then murdered 2 years later by another band member, Varg Vikernes.
