TIL No Kum-sok, who was a member of the Korean People's Army Air, fell out of romation while flying a Mig-18 and defected by landing in the wrong direction at Kimpo Air Base in South Korea. He also received today's equivalent of $1,012,811 for defecting with an operational aircraft.
