TIL Chief Justice Fred Wilson, who presided the Brown v Board of Education trial initially, was holding the opinion that the Plessy v Ferguson verdict should stand. He died in September 1953 and replaced by Earl Warren. Warren made the Racial Segregation in public schools unconstitutional.
