TIL Grant Imahara died on July 13, 2020, at the age of 49, after suffering a ruptured, previously undiagnosed, intracranial aneurysm. Imahara began his career at Lucasfilm. Later he worked on Mythbusters and the White Rabbit Project and was a special effects engineer for many Hollywood productions.
