TIL that, although most people associate the character of Igor (or Ygor) as Dr. Frankenstein's hunchbacked lab assistant, the character did not appear in the original 1931 film. The hunchbacked assistant was named Fritz. In the original novel, Dr. Frankenstein doesn't even have an assistant.
