TIL 42-yr-old Zamboni driver David Ayres was called in as the 2nd emergency goalie for the Carolina Hurricanes. He allowed 2 goals right away; but after a teammate told him "We don't care how many goals you let in, let's just have fun," Ayres then made 8 saves for 6 - 3 victory over the Maple Leafs.
