TIL that in 1987, Matthew Broderick caused a car crash that killed a mother and her daughter and was only fined $175. Ironically, he appeared in a Honda commercial during the 2012 Super Bowl. The victims' son/brother stated that Broderick "wasn't the greatest choice of drivers, knowing his past."
