TIL Brad Fiedel's soundtrack for "The Terminator" was recorded entirely as a live performance. In the only help from an Oberheim synthesizer, he had to play while changing tempo and get them to match. This was happening while scenes were being added in post-production, according to Gale Anne Hurd.
