TIL The billionaire Daniel K. Ludwig created the Jari Project, a 4 million acres paper pulp farm/factory/planned community in Brazil in 1967. By 1981 Ludwig divested himself of the expensive failing project. The Jari Project was just down stream from Henry Ford's failed Fordlandia rubber farm.
