TIL: In the 1930’s, Ben “Bugs” Hardaway, an animator who co-directed several Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts, was asked to draw pictures of rabbits for a new short, while drawing, Ben labeled the papers as “Bug’s Bunny.” The name stuck.
