[TIL] The Province of Canada moved its capital six times between 1841-1867 before permanently locating to Ottawa in 1865. Kingston (Ontario) was first, Quebec City and Toronto both hosted it twice and Montreal once (until the buildings were burnt down in riots in 1849).
