TIL Although the media portrayed hatred between Shaquille O'Neal & Kobe Bryant during their time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Shaq often times acknowledged Kobe's greatness. O'Neal referred to Bryant as "[his] idol" and "the best player in the league, by far" following a victory in 2000-2001 season.
