TIL Chappelle Show’s The Mad Real World skit was inspired by his friend David Edward’s experience being kicked out of The Real World. The skit reversed the premise with a white guy driven crazy by black roommates and kicked out after they don’t “feel safe" — the same words used to evict Edwards.
