TIL there was a short lived spin off of "The Golden Girls" called "The Golden Palace", where they all ran a hotel minus Bea Arthur. It oddly ran on CBS instead of NBC, and was cancelled after one season. Also co-starred a young Don Cheadle and Cheech Martin as a hotel chef.
