TIL Abraham Lincoln, Napoleon, Da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and Neil Armstrong (+ many others) were all Deists. They believed God did not interfere or effect events on Earth - a view seen as herecy throughout most of their lives.
