TIL: The 1928 movie 'Noah's Ark'. While filming of the flood scene, 600,000 gallons of water was dropped on the set without warning the actors, so their reactions and fear on film were real. Three people drowned, one had a leg amputated, and many suffered broken limbs and other serious injuries.
