TIL that a racing horse in the late 1700s named Potoooooooo got his name after the owner instructed the stable boy to write the horses name (Potato) on a feed bin. The stable boy misspelled the name as "Potoooooooo" (Pot plus 8 Os) and the owner loved it so much that he kept the name.
