TIL before Fred Rogers passed away on the morning of February 27, 2003. His wife was present to comfort him as he was dying. His last words was "Do you think I'm a sheep?" (referring to Matthew 25). After passing away, Joanne reassured him by saying "Fred, if ever there was a sheep, you're one."
