TIL Chinese water snake oil reduces inflammation due to being rich in Omega-3. In the 1800’s, Clark ‘The Rattlesnake King’ Stanley, sold ‘100% Snake Oil’. It did not actually contain any snake oil. Hence the term ‘Snake Oil Salesman’.
