TIL of Dapper Dan, a Harlem man who was chief tailor to a number of New York rappers, athletes, and dealers in the 80s. His apparel was often covered in bootleg Gucci, Fendi, or Louis Vuitton logos. Mike Tyson, one of his customers, later had a fight which indirectly led to Dan’s boutique closing.
