TIL that the world's most poisonous mushroom is the Death Cap which is very common in Britain. It contains the toxin amanitin and is responsible for 90% of all deaths by fungus. They resemble other edible mushrooms such as the paddy straw. There was no known antidotes for death cap poisoning.
