TIL that there was a civilization older than the culture of The Sumerians. It's located at The Göbekli Tepe Archaeological Site in Upper Mesopotamia, (modern-day Turkey). It's estimated that it goes back to 9500 BCE! Over 11,500 years ago and over 6,000 years before the founding of Sumer!
