TIL Doritos were invented at Disneyland. In the 1960s, the restaurant Casa de Fritos at Disney used up their surplus tortillas by frying and coating them with a seasoning powder. The appetizer was such a big hit that Frito-Lay, an early sponsor of Disneyland, released the snack nationwide.
