TIL In 1984 Summer Olympics Judo final, Egypt’s Mohamed Ali Rashwan lost to Japan’s Yasuhiro Yamashita who previously tore a right calf muscle. Rashwan did not aim for Yamashita’s right leg because he did not regard that as a fair play. He won an award from the International Fairplay Committee.
