TIL: The "air" puffing-up most potato chips bags is actually not air. It's nitrogen. Chemical reactions with regular air would hurt the taste. Also, typical snacks bags are a high-tech sandwich of polypropylene, a possible thin coating of aluminum, and polyethylene (grocery-bag plastic).
