TIL Kurt Cobain almost banned Dave Grohl from playing at Nirvana's Unplugged because he didn't like how Grohl sounded playing drums with sticks at the rehearsals. Finally, Grohl perfomed using the wire brushes and sizzle sticks he recieved as an "early Christmas present" from the album's producer.
