TIL Actor Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz, Star Trek, MI:) once pretended to be kidnapped by aliens, tweeting he was going to check some noises in his attic, then disappearing from Twitter for 3 days. He re-appeared 5 mins after the time-of-day he "disappeared" & tweeted "everything's fine, nothing there".
