TIL about the Decebalus Treasure found by a Roman army in 106 AD during the Second Dacian War. Decebalus, the last king of the Dacians, diverted the Sargetia River (in modern-day Romania) to bury all his wealth. Someone betrayed him, and the Romans found 330,000 lb of gold and 650,000 lb of silver.
