TIL after Rush's 1975 album "Caress of Steel" had disappointing sales, Mercury Records considered dropping the band. However, they were allowed to make one more album. Despite pressure from the label to go commercial, Rush ignored them and in 1976 released their breakthrough prog-rock album: "2112”.
