TIL in 2009, a molecular biologist discovered a gene mutation that prevents fruitflies from getting drunk. She dubbed it "Happyhour". The same scientist had earlier identified mutations causing super-sensitivity and increased tolerance to alcohol, calling them "Cheapdate" & "Hangover", respectively.
