TIL that Rita Coolidge claims to have written the piano coda in the rock classic 'Layla' recorded in 1971 by Eric Clapton's Derek and the Dominoes. Coolidge claims she and the band's drummer had collaborated on a song which was played to Clapton and later used in Layla. She was refused a credit.
