TIL: Nguyễn Bặc was the ancestor of the Nguyễn clan in Vietnam. Born in 924, he and his brothers became generals who suppressed the historical event known as "The Anarchy of the Twelve Warlords" leading to his status to be raised from peasant class to nobility. All 3 brothers died to treachery.
