TIL the movie Stuart Little had a long-lost Hungarian painting hanging in the background. The masterpiece was lost before WWII, and was discovered in 2009 when an art historian watched Stuart Little with his daughter. The film's set designer had found the painting at an antiques shop in California.

TIL that people with a stutter can often sing without difficulty. Blues artists B.B. King and John Lee Hooker, despite having significant stuttering problems as children, both sang without a stutter. Hooker even wrote a song about his experiences called "Stuttering Blues."

TIL that 2000 hit song Around the World (La La La La La) of the German ATC band is actually originally a Russian song of Ruki Vverh! (Hands up!) pop group. The song wasn't even popular in Russia, BMG music co. acquired rights for it and Ruki Vverh! got proper royalties from the deal.

TIL Martin Luther King's iconic sentence "I have a dream" was improvised. Toward the end of the speech, King departed from his prepared text for a partly improvised peroration on the theme "I have a dream", prompted by Mahalia Jackson's cry: "Tell them about the dream, Martin!"
