TIL: Entering a radius of 5 nautical miles around North Sentinel Island is illegal under Indian law. In Jan 2006, 2 Indian fishermen were fishing in prohibited waters and were killed by the Sentinelese, an indigenous people in voluntary isolation who have repeatedly attacked approaching vessels.
